Baseball WA is excited to continue Winter League for another season in 2024.
The inaugural Winter League season was a fantastic blend of competitive yet social baseball with multiple grades available for all skill levels and even new players.
“As a short 10 to 12-week season, this is the perfect lead-in to summer baseball with all Winter League Games played on Saturdays from May through to July,” Competition Manager Jes Fitzgerald said. “We look forward to another awesome year with existing Winter League clubs and would be pleased to see new teams and clubs join us, too.”
Winter League has a few modifications from our regular summer leagues, with pitchers being limited to three innings per game and no new innings to commence with 15 minutes left in scheduled playing time.
We are seeking women’s team nominations, but the regular divisions within Winter League are open to all players no matter the gender.
Winter League 2024 Season Information
Team Fees: $1,000 (Ex GST)
Nominations Due: Thursday 29 February 2024
Season Dates: Saturday 4 May 2024 to Saturday 27 July 2024 (Grand Final Day)
Note: If limited Under 16 teams are nominated then these teams will be included in the Open Divisions
