Team Australia has finalised their roster for the 2023 Under 18 Baseball World Cup in Taiwan.
Three West Australians made the cut following a highly competitive week at the Under 18 National Junior Camp on the Gold Coast. This includes catcher Joshua Davies, outfielder Michael De Gasperis, and pitcher/first baseman Jai Hewitt.
Baseball WA High Performance Manager Andy Kyle will serve as the team’s head coach for the second year.
Players competed in daily training, testing and games to determine the roster, with the team departing to Taiwan this Thursday for a week-long training camp before the tournament starts on 31 August.
